The things he loved

What filled his days

The people, the teams, the small daily joys. Anyone can add something he loved that we missed.

Rocio and Anthea

His wife and his daughter, the center of everything. Family came first for Zareh, and the love he gave them is the love we gather here.

His mother, Sonia

Sonia Yeramian, Menz Mama to the family. He loved his mother deeply, and that love shaped the generous, devoted man so many of us knew.

Armenia

He came from Armenia and was proud to be Armenian. His heritage, his roots and his people were part of everything he was.

Hockey nights

Three teams, one love of the game.

Montreal football

Both kinds. Gridiron with the Alouettes, and the beautiful game with the Montreal Football Club.

Softball

He didn't only watch. He loved to play, and he loved the team that came with it.

Onyx and the cats

His cats, and Onyx most of all. A quiet companion at home who will miss him too.

Miami

His condo in Miami, the light on the water, the warm evenings. A place he truly enjoyed.

Italian coffee

Espresso done right. Coffee was a small ritual and an excuse to sit and talk.

Business

He loved the work of building something: the deals, the people, the details.

Generosity

He gave his time, his help and his table freely. Many of the stories here will start with something he did for someone.
